When I was 3 years old, I learned to read. At the age of 4 I could write, and a year later I begged my father to teach me English. My desire to explore languages never faded, and today I'm learning Spanish, planning to learn Russian, and hold an M.A. in English and Swedish with specialization in Translation Studies.

As a writer, I aim to help people - either by promoting their (free and open source) software, startups and ideas, or by teaching them about Linux, privacy, information security, personal branding and sharing productivity tips.

When I'm not writing, I enjoy researching and expanding my interests, which currently include (but are not limited to): design, architecture, social psychology, identity management, etymology, sociolinguistics, social history of urban areas, animal welfare, geology and geography.
